Why set an alarm for 18:15?

Night medication? Many people set an alarm at 18:15 so they don't forget their pill before bed. With the label you can note the medication name. It's also a typical time to remember taking out the trash, running the washing machine on the night tariff, or packing tomorrow's bag.

    Frequently asked questions

Does it ring on a phone with the screen locked?

It depends on the platform. On Android with Chrome, yes if the tab is open. On iPhone with Safari, not reliably, because iOS suspends background tabs. We recommend keeping the phone plugged in with the screen on if it is critical.

Should I set an alarm to go to bed?

Yes, sleep experts recommend it. A bedtime alarm is as important as the wake-up one. Keeping a fixed bedtime improves rest quality more than sleeping many hours on irregular schedules.

How many sleep cycles do I need?

A sleep cycle lasts about 90 minutes. The ideal is 5 cycles (7.5 hours) or 6 (9 hours). If you set the wake-up alarm at 7:00, count backwards in 90-minute blocks: 5:30, 4:00, 2:30, 1:00, 11:30 PM. Going to bed near one of those times helps you wake at the end of a cycle instead of in the middle of deep sleep.
