What if my computer goes to sleep?
It won't ring. The alarm needs the device on and the browser open. If your browser supports Wake Lock, we enable the screen lock automatically to prevent this. If it doesn't (iPhone, old Safari), we show you a warning.
What is the difference between an alarm in 10 minutes and a timer?
An alarm in 10 minutes calculates the exact time it will ring (current time + 10 minutes) and alerts you at that clock time, like an alarm clock. A timer counts down 10 minutes regardless of what time it is. If you want to know "at what exact time will it ring?", use this page. If you prefer watching a countdown, use the timer.
If I set an alarm for 10 minutes from now, will it keep working if I switch tabs?
Yes. The alarm uses the system clock and absolute timestamps, not a counter that stalls when you switch tabs. As long as the browser stays open, the alarm will ring even if the tab is not visible.
