Your Alarms

You don't have any alarms yet.

You've landed on the alarm in 2 hours page. What does that mean? When you press "Set alarm", we automatically calculate what time it will be 2 hours from now and schedule the alert for that exact moment. No mental math, no clock-watching.

What is an alarm in 2 hours good for?

Two hours is a long weekend nap, the maximum parking time in many zones, or the length of a standard movie. If you set an alarm for 120 minutes from now, make sure the device won't suspend.

How is it different from a 2 hours timer?

For long durations, many people prefer the 90-minute timer. But if you want to know the exact end time, the 120-minute relative alarm is your tool.

    How it works

    1. Open this page. The widget above already knows you want a relative alarm.
    2. Press "Set alarm". The system calculates the current time + 2 hours.
    3. When the moment arrives, the alarm rings. You can snooze it or dismiss it.

    Frequently asked questions

Will the alarm ring if the tab is in the background?

Yes, the alarm rings even if the tab is in the background or minimized, as long as the browser stays open. The internal tick uses absolute timestamps rather than counters, so it survives background tab throttling.

What is the difference between an alarm in 120 minutes and a timer?

An alarm in 120 minutes calculates the exact time it will ring (current time + 120 minutes) and alerts you at that clock time, like an alarm clock. A timer counts down 120 minutes regardless of what time it is. If you want to know "at what exact time will it ring?", use this page. If you prefer watching a countdown, use the timer.

If I set an alarm for 120 minutes from now, will it keep working if I switch tabs?

Yes. The alarm uses the system clock and absolute timestamps, not a counter that stalls when you switch tabs. As long as the browser stays open, the alarm will ring even if the tab is not visible.
